HENNA CLASSES
We are available year round for individual instruction and henna workshops.
Henna workshops can be for schools, libraries, community centers or other locations or residences. At this time we are able to offer virtual workshops for large groups and virtual or in-person mentoring for individuals. These workshops are great for summer reading and book club groups, scouting organizations,parties, and learning adventure groups of all kinds.
Henna for Beginners (up to 25 people)
Henna for Beginners workshops feature a short presentation detailing henna’s history, science, cultural traditions, safety practices and resource guide. This is followed by hands on guided practice learning the building blocks of henna design and instruction in creating simple and fun henna designs. This class includes a supplies kit for each participant.
Supplies include:
2 fresh henna cones
Mighty Mini henna kit
design transfer kit with two stencils and stencil gel
design elements and sample design practice sheets
aftercare instructions
free downloads of all written class materials and extras
Advanced Henna Design Workshop (up to 25 people)
The Advanced Henna Design Workshop is for groups that have already done the Henna at Home class, or who already have some experience with henna design. In this workshop we will be focusing on creating four different types of designs: mandala, arched, floral fusion, and fingertip designs. We will also be learning about design placement, artist posture and support, health and safety protocols, and best practices for optimal results with your henna. This class includes a supplies kit for each participant.

Individual Instruction (one on one mentoring)
Individual Instruction sessions are designed to work with you at whatever level you are at. Beginning, Intermediate, and Adanced level instruction either in person, or in a virtual learning setting. Whatever skill you need guidance with: mixing, cone rolling, elements and motifs, composition, bridal work, regional styles… we can cover it all. Whether you are working towards perfecting your skills or striving to overcome a trouble spot, one on one instruction is a great way to take your henna practice to the next level.
